The STS advanced compounder incorporates the entire Coperion process know-how and the advantages of our international network. Our aim with the STS advanced: To offer the market a twin screw compounder for standard applications at an attractive price/performance ratio. With this goal in mind we developed the series at our Stuttgart site – formerly Werner & Pfleiderer – in accordance with German design and quality management guidelines. Production of the STS advanced is in Nanjing, China, in compliance with the CE directives. The result: A high-performance compounding system with low investment costs which
ensures our customers a fast return on investment. The modular design of the screw barrels and elements allows process lengths of 24 to 56 D. The STS advanced compounder therefore covers most common standard applications in process technology. With a total of 5 different sizes, throughputs of up to 3,300 kg/h can be achieved depending on the processing task.
